Madison Holladay

My integrated approach to therapy includes evidence-based strategies from the following modalities: Internal Family Systems (IFS), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), and Restoration therapy. These frameworks help clients find their intrinsic strength to tackle their current struggles.

Prior to beginning clinical practice, I taught high school students in Metro Nashville where I was fortunate to learn from the resiliency of young people. In this invaluable time, I learned how to balance caring, nurturing relationships while also challenging people to reach their desired goals. For the past several years, I worked with LGBTQIA+ young people at the Oasis Center, where I worked with queer and gender-nonconforming young people as they navigated their identity exploration, family relationships, and academic and societal stressors. Currently, I primarily work with adults and families with adolescents.

I completed the Marriage and Family Therapy (MFT) program at Lipscomb University in 2021, and I hold a license for Marriage and Family Therapy in Tennessee (#1986). I am trained in EMDR Level 1 and LGBTQ+ Affirming CBT, and I am currently an AAMFT supervisor in training. If you are interested in learning more about EMDR or IFS, please see the Services page.

By building coping mechanisms, practicing acceptance and radical self-compassion, and cultivating a deeper understanding of your emotions, my hope is that you will emerge from our work together feeling more resilient, confident, and equipped to create the life you envision- full of color.
